All camps and performances will be held at Edmonds Heights K-12 - 23200 100th Ave West, Edmonds 98020
Camps will fill on a first come/first served basis.
Camp Director is Dorothy Rosenthal Pierce (she/her). Dorothy has been teaching theatre continuously in the Edmonds School District for 18 years, running the Edmonds Heights theatre program, and teaching summer theatre at Edmonds Driftwood Players, Madrona Children's Theatre and Edmonds Elementary. Camps will be taught by Edmonds Heights Workshop Instructors and Alumni, who are all working, professional theatre artists. High School student assistants will also be onsite.
Something Rotten will be a full-length, fully-produced musical, ending with four public performances on July 31 - Aug 2. This program is for students entering 7th grade through exiting 12th.
Rehearsals will take place from July 6-30, 1:30-7pm (M-F). Actors will only be called when working on material that they are in. Not all actors will be called for the entire time. We do have some freedom to work around conflicts. Please share all conflicts in advance.
Auditions will take place before the beginning of rehearsals. Family volunteer hours will be required.

Our multi-grade musical (MGM) will be Annie Jr.! and is for students in grades 3-12. It will be a fully-produced musical and ends with three public performances on August 28 & 29.
Rehearsals will take place from Aug 10-27, 1:30-7pm (M-F). Actors will only be called when working on material that they are in. Not all actors will be called for the entire time. We do have some freedom to work around conflicts. Please share all conflicts in advance.

Our New Play Workshop will be working on New York Times best-selling author Joy McCullough's new play, Edelweiss Pirates, which focuses on the true story of non-Jewish resistance teens during the Holocaust. We will be workshopping the play, working directly with Joy on bringing this story to life. This will be the first performance of this script. Throughout the rehearsal process, actors will learn how a script evolves from first draft to performance.
This program is for students entering 7th grade through exiting 12th.
Rehearsals M-F 9am-1pm with an extended rehearsal on July 24th and an evening performance.

Elementary Musical will be Pirates, The Musical- “We're off to sail the rollicking sea, pirates all are we!” But ARRRR, and shiver me timbers! There's a stowaway on board! Perhaps the King of the High “Cs” will know what to do. Join this salty crew of colorful scallywags when Bluebeard, Yellowbeard, Whitebeard, Purplebeard - well, you get the picture - along with the No Beards hoist the Jolly Roger and set sail for a mighty adventure.
The week ends with two public performances. This program is for students entering 1st grade through exiting 6th.
Rehearsals will take place M-F, 1-5 pm, with 2 evening performances will be on Fri, June 26th at 5pm and 6pm.
We have some freedom to work around conflicts. Please share all conflicts in advance on the role preference form.

Each camp will learn different material, songs, scenes and choreography and will end with a presentation for friends and family on the final day. You may attend one, two, three or more camps for your grade range. The material will be tailored to the enrolled students. We aim to entertain, enrich and challenge in a fun, collaborative setting.

Middle and High School students who assist with other camps will receive a reduction in tuition cost for musicals.
