Edmonds Heights Performing Arts is thrilled to announce Summer Theatre Camps, Costuming Camps and Summer Theatre. 

All camps and performances will be held at Edmonds Heights K-12 - 23200 100th Ave West, Edmonds 98020

Camps will fill on a first come/first served basis.

Camp Director is Dorothy Rosenthal Pierce (she/her). Dorothy has been teaching theatre continuously in the Edmonds School District for 18 years, running the Edmonds Heights theatre program, and teaching summer theatre at Edmonds Driftwood Players, Madrona Children's Theatre and Edmonds Elementary. Camps will be taught by Edmonds Heights Workshop Instructors and Alumni, who are all working, professional theatre artists. High School student assistants will also be onsite.

One-week, half-day day camps from throughout the summer - dates below

Each camp will learn different material, songs, scenes and choreography and will end with a presentation for friends and family on the final day. You may attend one, two, three or more camps for your grade range. The material will be tailored to the enrolled students. We aim to entertain, enrich and challenge in a fun, collaborative setting.

Kid Camp - 1st-6th grade one-week half-day camps

KC1 - Broadway Kid Camp 1  July 29-July 3, 9-1p (5 days) $295 

KC2 - Broadway Kid Camp 6  Aug 17-21, 9-1p (5days)  $295   

Teen Camp - 7th-12th grade one-week half-day camps

TC1 - Teen Camp 1  July 29-July 3, 1-5p (5 days) $295  (Dorothy & Mark)

Elementary Musical - June 22-26:

This program is for students entering 1st grade through exiting 6th.

Our Elementary Musical (EM) will be (TBD), ending with two (2) public performances.

Rehearsals will take place from 1-5 pm, M-F. 

Rehearsals begin June 22nd and run through June 26th. Performances will be June 26th at 5pm and 6pm.

Auditions will take place prior to beginning of rehearsals. 

We have some freedom to work around conflicts. Please share all conflicts in advance.

Teen Summer Musical - July 6 - Aug 2:

This program is for students entering 7th grade through exiting 12th.

Our Teen Musical (TM) will be Something Rotten, a full-length, fully-produced musical, ending with four (4) public performances.

Rehearsals will take place from 1:30-7 pm, M-F. Actors will only be called when working on material that they are in. Not all actors will be called for the entire time.

Rehearsals begin July 6th and run through July 30th. Performances will be July 31 - Aug 2

Auditions will take place prior to beginning of rehearsals. Family volunteer hours will be required. 

We have some freedom to work around conflicts. Please share all conflicts in advance.

Multi-Grade Musical - August 10-29

This program is for students entering 3rd grade through exiting 12th.

Our multi-grade musical (MGM) will be Annie Jr. and is for students in grades 3-12. It will be a fully-produced musical, and ends with three (3) public performances. Rehearsals will take place from 1:30-7pm, M-F. 

Actors will only be called when working on material that they are in. Not all actors will be called for the entire time. Auditions will take place prior to beginning of rehearsals.

Rehearsals begin August 10th and run through August 27th.  Performances will be Aug 28 & 29

Auditions will take place prior to beginning of rehearsals. Family volunteer hours will be required.

New Play Workshop - July 13-24

This program is for students entering 7th grade through exiting 12th.
Directed by Dorothy Rosenthal Pierce.

M-F 9am-1pm with an extended rehearsal on July 24th and an evening performance.

WORK STUDY SIGN-UP

Middle and High School students who assist with other camps will receive a reduction in tuition cost for musicals.
