The International Thespian Society (ITS) is an honor society for middle and high school theatre students in the United States. It recognizes and rewards student achievement in all aspects of theatre, including performance, tech, audience and production. Points are rewarded for "meritorious work in theatre."
Edmonds Heights is a proud Thespian organization, Troupe #7469. All theatre students are eligible to begin collecting points toward induction starting in 6th grade. Usually it takes a student 2 shows to earn enough points to be inducted. Junior Thespian is 6th-8th grade and Thespian is 9th-12th. When you move from Junior to Thespian (this is generally after your first show as a 9th grader) you are inducted as a Thespian. We will celebrate all induction levels at our end of season EHPA Theatre Gala.
Points earned as a Junior Thespian also aid in your induction points for Thespian.
The cost to be inducted into International Thespian Society is $17 for Junior Thespian and $35 for Thespian.
This is how you build your digital point sheet:
1) Make a copy when prompted - Thespian Point Sheet
2) Replace "copy of TEMPLATE" with your First and Last Name
3) Share editor access with sansburnl391@edmonds.wednet.edu and dorothy@ehshows.com
Not sure of your shows? Check out this handy list and don't forget things like Boo Bash, conference attendance (Thespy, Jr. Thespy, Leadership, State Festivals), and cabarets! Students may also earn points for seeing shows and writing reviews.
Point values for show roles and event attendance are listed on the second tab of the Thespian Point Sheet form.
Keep this form updated throughout your entire time at Edmonds Heights!
